BUILDING SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE

BUILDING SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE

BUILDING SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE

The Motivationz Swim programme follows a clear, progressive structure, with achievable goals that help children develop their swimming skills and confidence.

We cater for a range of abilities, and our small class sizes allow each swimmer to receive focused coaching and support. Only one class uses the pool at a time, creating a calm environment where children can concentrate and learn.

Our aim is to help children become capable, confident swimmers who feel comfortable and enjoy being in the water.

What makes Motivationz swimming lessons different?

Our lessons are technique-focused, helping swimmers develop strong skills, confidence and an understanding of how to move effectively through the water. Only one class uses the pool at a time, allowing the coach to give every swimmer focused attention.

What swimming ability does my child need?

We cater for 5-year-olds who can float on both their front and back through to swimmers capable of completing 200- 400 metres. Children are placed in a class based on their current ability rather than their age alone. The programme starting age is 5 years old and swimmers must be able to submerge and float on their front and back.

How long are the swimming lessons?

Most lessons are 25 minutes. Our Mini Squad sessions are longer and are designed for swimmers ready to improve their technique, fitness and endurance.

How do I know which class is right for my child?

We will ask about your childs age, previous swimming experience and current ability. This helps us place them in a class where they will be challenged without feeling overwhelmed. We may assess your child.

Can my child change to another lesson time during the term?

Being a small boutique swim school, this can be challenging. We will help where possible, but places are limited, and classes are carefully organised according to swimming ability. Changes can generally only be made if a suitable space becomes available.
